  • What is a macaron?
    A macaron is a pastry that has a meringue shell made with almond flour that "sandwiches" a flavorful filling or ganache.
  • Are your macarons gluten-free?
    Yes, all of our macarons are made with almond flour! Some fillings may contain wheat - currently, the two flavors that do are Chocolate Pretzel and Tiramisu.
  • How long do your macarons maintain fresh?
    For best results, consume immediately or refrigerate upon arrival and consume within 5-7 days of delivery. They can alternately be frozen upon arrival for up to 4 weeks. If you will be storing them in a refrigerator, please leave them out for approximately 10 minutes until they reach reach room temperature or 30 minutes if coming from the freezer. The fillings are softer at room temperature and make the bite that much more enjoyable!
  • Do you have any dairy-free macarons?
    Unfortunately, all of our macarons contain dairy. We're working on some non-dairy/dairy alternative recipes. Please stay tuned for updates!
  • How many calories are in each macaron?
    Each macaron usually has between 95-130 calories each, depending on the flavor.
  • How long does an order take to process?
    An order can take anywhere from 3 days to 1 week to process. All orders placed between Monday 12am EST and Thursday at 4pm EST will ship on the following Monday. Orders placed after 4pm EST on Thursday through Sunday at 11:59pm EST may potentially ship the week after, depending on order volume of that week. If you have a time sensitive order, please contact us at maysmacarons@gmail.com and we can confirm if we can make the deadline.
  • What payment options do you offer?
    Currently, there are three ways to pay: - Venmo: directly to @may-chiu - Chase QuickPay: directly to maysmacarons@gmail.com - Paypal Checkout: can use Paypal or credit card/debit card to checkout
  • When does payment need to be submitted?
    Immediately when purchasing. An order does not move into processing until payment is rendered. If it is not rendered within 2 days, a reminder will be sent to the customer.
  • Do you offer delivery?
    Yes! Right now, we only deliver in Jersey City & Hoboken. There is a delivery fee of $3 for orders under $50. Orders $50+ enjoy free delivery.
  • Is there a shipping charge?
    Yes, there is a shipping fee, which varies depending on the weight and size of the shipment. All orders will be shipped next day, 2 day or 3 day to ensure the freshness of the order upon arrival.
  • What happens if my order is damaged?
    If your order arrives damaged, we sincerely apologize! Please send a photo of the damaged order to maysmacarons@gmail.com and we will address the issue.
  • How are the orders packed & shipped?
    Macarons are packed in a macaron container and wrapped in bubble wrap with an ice pack. The ice pack keeps the macarons cool throughout transit. If the ice pack arrives melted upon delivery, that is perfectly fine. Macarons are perfect to eat at room temperature.
  • Do you ship internationally?
    No, right now, we do not offer international shipping. We only ship across the East Coast in the United States. We plan to expand to the rest of the continental United States soon!
  • How long does shipping take?
    All macarons are shipped with a 1 day, 2 day or 3 day service, regardless of the carrier. We want to ensure that the macarons arrive fresh to your doorstep! If your package does not arrive within 3 business days, please follow up with us at maysmacarons@gmail.com. All orders placed between Monday 12am EST and Thursday at 4pm EST will ship on the following Monday and Tuesday. Orders placed after 4pm EST on Thursday through Sunday at 11:59pm EST may potentially ship the week after.
  • Do you offer returns on macaron purchases?
    Due to the nature of our products, all orders are final and we do not accept returns. However, if you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact us at maysmacarons@gmail.com. We would be happy to assist in resolving the situation.
  • Do you offer refunds/exchanges on macaron purchases?
    Due to the nature of our products, all orders are final and we do not offer refunds or exchanges. If you had an issue with your order, please contact us at maysmacarons@gmail.com. We would be happy to assist in resolving the situation.
  • Do you take catering/custom orders?
    Yes, we do! Please contact us with your request along with any necessary details (location, date of delivery, etc) and we will respond back to you as soon as we can to confirm.
  • How long does it take to place a custom order?
    Depending on how large the custom order is, it can take anywhere from 1-2 weeks. Please use the Contact Us form if you're interested in placing a custom order. Provide as many details as you can about the order you'd like to place and when the expected delivery date is. We will work through a timeline and get back to you with any questions before proceeding.
  • Do you take wholesale orders?
